snowskate problems

i got a premier red ninja snowskate for christmas and after a few hours of snowskating it got a bunch scratches,not too deep ones but not little thin ones either, i was wondering if this will pose as a problem or effect my snowskating

It wont, but I'd cover the bottom of the board with wax so it goes faster and might prevent scratches.
