well i just want to know whos right here...... and plus i sorta have this obsession of always having a light board (i currently have a fiberlight with ti-lites bones swiss ceramics and featherlight wheels) so any help is appreciated

Don't be a weight fagget. It doesn't matter. And ditch your Element Fiberlight. That's even queerer.

titan ti-lite's are light, but the lightest would be titanium Grind kings. Titanium is the lightest material that trucks have been made from.

ti lites are the lightest. you dont get any lighter than a holey baseplate with trucks made of super thin metal. edit: actually, yeah, GK titaniums. i forgot those.
worrying about light trucks is dumb though. i skate an 8.25 board (toy machine, which some would consider on the heavy side because the wood is sturdy) and its a bit more wood than your little boards so its got even more weight.. and 8 inch indys. most people say indys are on the heavy side too, and mine are WIDER so theres more metal.
therefor, i have a heavier board. most of you guys would FREAK if you held mine because of what your mind wants to think is normal. its not even a big difference anyway.
anyway, my point is that lightness doesnt mean better. sure, if you have a truly HEAVY board it wouldnt be good, but HEAVY is WAYYYY more weight than everyone thinks.
also, the differences in weight are NOTHING to even consider.

Weight is a preferance just as board size is, personaly. i dont want a heavy or a really light board, just a durable one.

I kinda dissagree, i just changed to stage 8 indys cuz i got them cheap.. and they are heavy dropping like balls from grown men but at this stage i find it hard popping high and just holding the board is kinda werid.. but i'm sure i'll learn to adjust and adapt to the weight...
i'd say a lot of it is about your type of muscles you might have muscles for enduarance, or a strong jerky movement or slighty in between..
