How do I enter a vert ramp?

Hey. I'm just thinkin of beginnin to vert skate but I don't know how to begin??? How do I start from the top and go to the other side?? Basically how do I enter the ramp?

I couldn't explain it cuz I just don't know how...but go to www.expn.com and you'll find your answer in the "drop in" section of the trick tips section of the skateboarding section (that's a lot of sections...anywayz)....I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for there.

and if that don't help then you should ask some friends that live near you or go to a skate park and ask them. but what i did was practice on my friends ramp cuz they showed me how. other then that it basically came natural to me. you'll get it don't worry :):)

i know how. just set the board like in a tail stall, restin'n the tail, and then push down on the nose HARD. as long as you lean forward some, you should roll in and go up the other side. if you bail, try to slide on you knees (you should wear knee pads :D).

wear wrist guards...thats all i have to say...fractured my wrist in 2 places the first time i tried to drop in!

Well hotsk8tagurl55, I am probably going to bones rite near my house which is a skatepark, and my friend dominic hood can enter vert ramps so he will help me.

ummmmmmmmmmmm lil man i would try to ollie then try to go onto a 2 ft ramp hen maybe get higher but dude a 8ft ramps scary letalone a 12ft and since when has bones had a vert?

u get ure tail on the edge. get ure front foot like right on top of the bottom bolts and put weight on that foot. LEAN FORWARD!!

as u reach other side lean back vice versa. (thats called pumping)
dont worry if u dont get it first time. its kinda hard. u just gotta commit to it.

You need confidence to land something esspecially when it comes to ramps...if you can drop a 2ft ramp u then try to do a 3ft ramp and so on...you cant jut take a little try at a big ramp then bail and be scared forever.

If i was you cross ake i would go to a very small local skatepark and skate there with little people around you...it will boost your confidence to land something alone then bring your skating freinds to this spot and show them...when they applaud you it will give you more confidence to try bigger rails,leges,steps....ramps!
