Those are pretty cool!
When I make stuff like that I usually use Photoshop CS2 and Imageready CS2
I think its easier
BTW Kevinslater222 I hate you. And so does everyone else on this forum -_-

Ok as you all have seen i recently got a new hobby making GIF. files.
Basicly Gifs are a whole bunch of frames put together to make a animation, we call them GIFs.
To start you need to anwser a couple of questions
Do you have MS paint (microsoft)?
Do you have GIF movie maker?
If the anwser is yes to all of these then skip the next two paragraph, if not keep on reading.
Do you have MS paint (microsoft)?:
There is another progam that i use to make it, its pretty much the exact same as paint with alittle extra fetures. It can be found Here (http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/redirect/mirror_25_betanews.html), it is only a 3.39 MB so it will not take to long.
Do you have GIF movie maker?
This is what you use to put all the frames together, it can be found Here (http://gamani.fileburst.com/MovieGear4.exe), and only 963KB small so it will be done in the matter of seconds.
Alrighty lets start with it, first because you are new to this lets make a 3 frame gif.
Start with somthing easy like a 3 set or somthing. Draw it start with the set, then the guy. After your finished the first scean, file-save as-Gif format. Now you have your first scean, erase just your guy and draw him where you want to for then next one. Posistion him in to the middle of the stairs, next file save as dont forget to rename this next sceen gif fromat. Repeat this step for the finalie of the gif.
Ok now puting it all together open Gif movie gear, open the first sceen. Then open next frame, repeat. Change the timing in properties and save-as. Now your done, i better see some sick gifs now. NOW!

hey, can u do the animation thingys with the gimp software thigy, causse i dont wanna buy(or download thngys)anymore software thigys, cause it slows down the computies.

I'm not sure on how it works, but you can draw it on GIMP, you must download GIF MOVIE MAKER (http://gamani.fileburst.com/MovieGear4.exe). Its less then a megabyte so it can't slow your computer down too much. If it does, run defragmate and disk clean up on your computer.

Or you can just learn Flash MX and make better animations in less time and more easily.

Maybe you could only read select sentences, but i said I HAVE JUST STARTED. I want you to make a amazing one right now. Other people seem to enjoy them, so you can go back to special school, and stop being an ass. And they wonder why i have such a problem with noobs.

Well, flash MX when you draw you see the last frame and draw from there.
With mine i just make a educated guess. But, i do fruck i up alot.
isk8darkstar
01-09-2006, 03:30 AM
basically what i figured out is to draw them pixel by pixel(which you should be doing anyway) and make note of how many pixels you drew for one line etc. and just keep refering back to your original drawing
how do u post them on here? lol

the way i used to keep it consistent with gifs was to draw the first frame, save it as 1.jpg, then change it a little, save as 2.jpg, ect. you just have to be careful not to click "save as" instead of "save"

Does anyone else remember a year or 2 ago when everyone had crappy gifs for their avatars?
