Right I have mastered Febble stalls on a mini ramp and can get them most times I attempt them. I have found the trick is to NOT carve into the trick as you would for a 50-50 but to come in at a slightly accute angle, this stops your board drifting away from the copeing. When actually locking onto the copeing the trick is to press down with toes of your trailing foot and keep your weight slightly over the ramp. As that old saying does "it is easy when you know how".

So does anybody know any tips when getting into a smith stalls (not grinds, but any tips on those would also be useful). I can't seem to lock into the stall and my board drifts straight back into the ramp.

Any tips?

try starting off by putting your board in a smith stall position and then go into the ramp so that you know how to come oon from these. When you come up the ramps transition pump up like you would for an axle stall and spin your body that little bit more and shift your weight to the top of the ramp when your in the smith. Then just turn into the ramp as though you were in a feeble and keep skating the ramp like a pro:D:D:D:D
