not all boards are the same. at all.
neither are blanks.
so generalizing by saying that like.. "blanks are good.." doesnt work because theyre not all the same. its not like theres a company that makes blanks.

i ment by that is that u can personalise them with stuff and they are cheaper for the same thing you would get with a compony name

i guess.
but its hard to actually get a blank thats ACTUALLY the same as a brand board. like blankdecks.com makes their own boards. blank board sites do that.
the only way you could get a blank that really is the same as a pro board is if you could find a way to get blanks from that company. because there arent any that i can think of that sell blanks too. powell comes close with mini logos, and speed demons has boards like that too, but theyre not quite blanks.
anyway. yeah.

I am a firm believer that blankdecks.com uses better quality matierals than 80 percent of the 'big' graphic companys.

I personally would rather ride a Toy Machine or something, but I don't have much cash, so I'm content with blanks.

Blank decks are the way to go. It just depends on where it's comming from. Most in the US use North American Maple, buy it from a distrubutor, and slap their logo on it.

A deck is a deck is a deck. Little kids get their parents to spend twice as much for Bam's board 'cause they think Bam is cool. A deck is a deck. Some have better materials, some have 8 plies, but what it comes down to is shape, size and concave. I bought pro boards forever, but now I always buy blanks 'cause if the deck is good who gives a shit what's on the bottom. I pay $45 Canadian for blanks from the local shop, where I'd usually pay around $80-90 for any brand boards. They sell painted boards with their logo for $60. The're just as good as any pro deck I've had.

Speaking of blankdecks.com, anyone know which molds are what 'brands'?
I know they aren't ACTUALLY the brand, but they're obviously supposed to be similar.
IE: "Blanks that got Pop" = Shorties, and so on.
