I have just bought this album and it is absolutely amazing. My favorite tracks are Obstacle 1, Roland, and PDA. I like and listen to all of the songs though. If you own the album, discuss?

Yeah, I'm using Obstacle 1 for my part in my next video. By the way, Interpol is an Indie band. But music is music and it shoudn't be labeled.

actually i disagree music should be labeled considering that you could mix this up with some shitty music, like hmm first metal band to coem to my mind, slayer.. (here comes the hate on me) but this is interpols best cd haha, considering there's only 2 cds from them, i'm sure we'll see more amazing stuff from them in the future though.

I don't think Interpol has another TOTBL in them, and their next album only will go further in the direction Antics went. Good or bad, you decide.
And whoever said Interpol was "Indie" when discussing genres should know that indie is not a genre, as "indie" does not describe sound at all.

hailtothetheif hence why i said bring the hate cause everyone hates on people opionions. and yes back when there were a ton of upcoming bands that had a sound like no other bands, and were all unsigned and considered indie bands as in not signed that what indie mean't, as time went on and more and more of these bands errupted they pretty much coined the name indie rock/pop ect as their genre meaning different sound then most other bands and could not be placed in a category such as heavy metal, punk ect. nowadays it has just stuck to oh this bands indie rock. or whatever genre the band you are talking about is now put under. there are so many indie labels now that it's not really much of a signing aspect either.

You guys are crazy, Obstacle 2 and The New is where its at.

Very good album. However never listen to Interpol while driving home at night. About 2 years ago there was almost a terrible terrible accident from that man's droning voice.
