haha flongo?? anyways i skate mongo and i skate reg and the easist way to switch is to move your foot up and if yuo cant get the blaance thing down you gotta try skatin switch and you'll find its way easier to skate with the other foot anyway thats the way i got off mongo...flongo...im still wonderin

Its not rare or uncommon at all. Its really common, especially in beginners. But because people say it looks dumb the move to regular/goofy stances.

Mongo gives you less control while pushing, it looks awful and it takes more time to get into position for tricks. All the reason you need NOT to push mongo.

yep, you caught me, I'm a beginner. shit luck for you, I've been skating for quite along time and not a beginner anymore. sorry to say that mongo looks like shit and also i cannnot push it, regular or switch, both ways is a no go for me. I learned how to push correctly when I just started learning how to skate. Also I know a kid who's very good at skating, pushes mongo, has the worst style. sorry but when you skate for as long as I have so far in my life you realize after you learn how to do tricks it starts to be about your style in skating.

also to the person who commented on saying "who gives a **** about grammar" I do because when someone says "i skate never. mongo" ****ing that doesn't make anysense what so ever. so honestly you all need to goto school and pay attention, go bitch about your teachers making you rewrite shit. Once you realize school is more important then skating is, you'll figure out oh shit I'm not going to do anything with my life cause i just failed 4 years of highschool. considering most all the users on this forum do not have talent to become a pro skateboarder, you should all goto school and make something of yourselves. As for school, i graduated highschool at 17 and im in university now doing physics. So shut the f up.
