i just started sk8in like last year and i got my first "real" board ( i had a toys r us board lol) wen i bot it i thot it was really good but now i no its crap
its a darkstar and its REALLY heavy they make em with 8 layers of plywood and they put like metal in the middle
my point is i dont really like my skateboard but i dunno if i shud buy a new one or not

Is it the Armor Ply deck, cause those have aluminum in the middle, to keep it longer lasting than most boards, but if its bugging you, then you should get one.

for a new deck i reccomend

1.Alien Workshop (its number one because i have one, and its lastin hella long)
2.Rasa Libre ( Good decks, hard to find since they went down the drain, prolly sell for a lot in a few years if you keep it in decent shape)
3. Habitat. (love these boards, same wood as alien.)

not really, they get really soggy quicly but depends if your just starting it doesnt really matter too much...same goes for world industries, enjoi and almost decks...

1st of all STOP SPELLING SKATE WITH AN "8"!!!!!! You look furken retarded man. Second of all, as hard as it is, try NOT to pick a board by the graphic. Blind, world intustries etc... all are complete crap. I'm pretty sure you can pick up a WI in any large retail chain like Wallmart (wtf is that!?). Go to your local shop and try boards out, use your hands and feet to test concave, rest the board upside-down on a flat surface with both the tail and the nose hanging off the surface and see if you can rock it left and right (if you can, it's warped, don't get it). See if it feels comfortable to you're feet. Nobody can recommend a board to anyone else, skateboarding is all about individuality, and nobody but yourself can tell you what to get. However: i do NOT recomend Blind, World Industries, Darkstar and Almost. If possible, try and get a blank or shop board over a company board; They're cheaper and you don't have to worry about scratching off the bottom. Hope your feet can find their sole(ha!)mate.
