F.E.A.R and QUAKE 4

what are your thoughts on these games?

Quake 4 was a bit short. Finished it in one night. Some parts of it was good.

F.E.A.R got it today. Played about 3 hours. I was hoping it would be scary. But it's more action game nothing to get scared about. Maybe i haven't played enough. Im waiting my roommate to go to bed so i can play the game alone.

I like F.E.A.R better. The levels are awesome.

What? the levels in F.E.A.R are really shitty. Who wants to run around in broad daylight outside fighting soldiers in a horror game? But the levels in quake are something. You get to see the sickest shit in game history ever.

I would have to differ. Quake4 doesn't do anything innovative or different. It's just a good looking FPS (based on the Doom3 engine). It's not even scary.

On the other hand, F.E.A.R. is proper scary and the action is top-notch. I fought many battles in 'focus-mode' (aka, Matrix-mode). It was a great game over-all.
