These are what I heard, and my opinions on everything. Boards, bearings, ect.

DECKS

Almost-
Yea, Yea, same old thing. These boards arent great, but not terrible. They lose pop after a while, but are good while they last. (Theyre ok)

Alien Workshop-
Some people like em, I dont. I skated on mine, and it lasted a few months. other ppl, tho, have good ones. Alot are good. Good pop for a couple months, medium concave, good board. (Good Boards)

Anti-Hero-
Not bad. Not good. Some rock, some suck. Make sure its good before you buy it. (Ehhhh.....)

Birdhouse-
NO NO NO! STAY AWAY. I had one, and have been told never buy one. I wont again. Terrible pop, too much or too little concave, depending on the board. (ONLY for beginners.)

Baker-
Strong decks, good pop, decent concave. For all you that care(I sure as hell dont) they have good graphics also. (Great decks)

Blank Deck supply-
Best Blank decks. Are as good as pro decks for half the price. Good strength, and pop. Not amazing concave, but it doesnt suck. (good!)

Blind-
Not pathetic at least. Definately not good. Great pop, but not strong. Breaks like it is cardboard. (not recommended)

CCS-
Good shape, bad pop. Loses pop after about 10 street sessions. Worth the price however. (not terrible)

Chocolate-
Everyone seems to love these, I think theyre to bulky, but Im the only one. If you side with everyone most of the time, try one out. Very strong.(good decks)

Consolidated-
Nothing to say. Havent heard enough, sry.

Darkstar-
Bad at first, weird shape, ect, but gets good. Wear it in and get used to it. then it feels and rides great. (good eventually)

Element-
Not strong, except the bid series, but they are really heavy. My friends cracked in a few days. One thing is amazing concave. At least I think that. (Ok)

Enjoi-
Good decks, makes a difference for a while. Then it wears down. Good concave, strong board as in it wont break, but it does wear down. (recommended)

Flip-
good beginner decks. Easy to flip, and land, but chip/break easy for hardcore skaters. Good concave, strong. (beginners buy)

Foundation-
See Baker

Girl-
See Chocolate

Habitat and Krooked-
Good all around deck, nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible. Shop around for these and youll get a good deal. (Respected boards)

Popwar-
Great pop thats lasts forever, good medium concave. Maybe the favorite decks on ramprage now. (great decks for anyone.)

FIGHT!
Good everything. They are very good in every aspect. (BUY)

Toy Machine-
See Foundation

World Industries-
Sucky! NEVER BUY ONE! JUST DONT DO IT!

Zoo York-
See Popwar

BEARINGS

Bones-
Good lasting bearings. Bones Reds are awesome. Steep prices on their best tho (Ceramics, Swiss). (Recommended)

Element-
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! I had these, and they sucked. They didnt fit my wheels correctly or anything. Last like 2 weeks, no matter which ones you get! (Stay away)

Lucky-
Not bad, not good. Try em out, cuz some ppl like em.

BlackPanthers-
Have removable shields, which stink. Dont get em.

World Industries-
Actually good. WI says they wont explode, and they last forever.

Flip-
Ride good for a month or so, then arent smooth. Last a decent time though.

Trucks

Independent-
Last forever, but are fat and heavy.

Destructo-
good for a while. They break in a few months.

Krux-
Amazing, amazing trucks. Lightweight, and last a long time. Krux III and Ice are the best though.

Silver-
Good if you dont skate all the time. Light, but break, so not good for the hardcore skater.

venture-
My personal favorites. the Venture Superlights really are super light.

Fury-
Too small and break too easily. Not very good.

Grind Kings-
Depends on personal preference. Everythings decent but the bushings.

WHEELS

Autobahn-
Depends on the wheel. Some are amazing, light weight. Some are heavy, and lose traction in a day.

Spitfire-
One of the best wheels. Good Traction, and not to expensive. Lightweight.

Ricta-
See Spitfire

Element-
Not great. Light, and durable, but get flatspots. Only for beginners. Hardcore skaters will kill em.

Griptape-

Clear-
Sucky! Wear out in a week, and never really has grip.

FKD-
Only for those who like the colors.

Black Magic, Kayo, Pig-
the grip. This is what you want.

Risers

Independent-
Good Stuff. The Shock Pads really work. You should get these, not the others.

Someone's already done this before and i dont agree with most of the things you've wrote and you missed some key items out.

Well, its good that you tried! Thanks for showing the forums some support ;).

No, someone did boards.

And that was my experiences, so yea, you can disagree.

Well, I disagree with pretty much everything on there. This sucks.

These are what I heard, and my opinions on everything. Boards, bearings, ect.

I'm not making an agruement, just pointing out that you did say this is mine and everyone elses opinion. By "These are what i heard" i'm guessing that you mean "This is what i've heard" as in, other peoples opinions on the products.

If so, most people would disagree with you on many of the points you made.

E.g. Anti-Hero-
Not bad. Not good. Some rock, some suck. Make sure its good before you buy it. (Ehhhh.....)

Most people on here will tell you that they love these boards.

Element-
Not strong, except the bid series, but they are really heavy. My friends cracked in a few days. One thing is amazing concave. At least I think that. (Ok)

Most people will tell you that they absolutely hate these boards.

I'm not making an arguement, please done start one.

I strongly disagree with you. Alien Workshop are very good. Nice concave, awesome pop, strong - and a nice experience to skate on. Each to their own of course.

AdioBird52
01-12-2006, 09:24 PM
So disagree. This was my opinion.

Yea, i hate element also, but they have good concave. Thats what makes them fairly decent.

Some Anti-Heros do suck. You have to be careful which one you buy. A kid at our local park broke it first day he got it, it was brand new.

I didnt like my AWS. It wore out in a couple weeks.

And yea, I meant that. Sorry, bad typing.

Kind of a ***** aren't ya? element sucks, DARKSTAR is awesome, and all DELUXE (antihero, Krooked, etc.) rule. i have a 1 year old antihero and it is awesome, why would some suck and some rule? all anti-heros are awesome. and CHOCOLATE is probably the best. Ive looked at element, and saw no concave, they are freakin' flat! "just_skate" has a way better thread, and im sorry, but you deserve to be flamed

Don't hate guys. He was giving his opinion on decks.

You say bakers are strong decks. And you say some antiheros suck. My friend had a baker for a whole 15 minutes until it broke. All boards have a shitty batch. Your friend probably got one of the shitty boards for it to break in a day. One of my friends had a Popwar(drops tech) that broke in one day. I disagree and agree with what you say with this but I really don't care. Your just giving your opinion.

Yea, my friend had a Good Things 3 deck.

Hey gmgsci fag, maybe you looked at an Element big series. They suck worse than other elements.
And Incase you didnt notice, differnet models are different. some Popwar's arent amazing, Ive rode some I hated, THEY ARE DIFFERENT MODELS

Dont call people *****s. Its completely retarded and is spoiling the skating community. If you noticed a lot of people do disagree with him, but dont go offending him. For all you know he could be a better skater than you. He could of skated for longer than you. Nothing gives anyone the right to call someone a *****.

He's right on the model thing too. Different series of boards are pressed, shaped etc. different.

Hey thanks man.

so chocolate decks are quite nice?, im thinkingof buying one soon, do they flip easy, as i have just got back into skating after a two year break i would like somthing that sorta easy to flip and learn again on. im not totally shit, i can still ollie, manual, pop shuvit, 180, sometimes kickflip but the boards shoots out from under my feet :-5:

or would i be better off with a flip deck?

okay, so you have baker boards as great, and some of the ones that actually ARE great as okay or just good.

from this, i have concluded that you truly dont know what youre talking about.

Kake Jelly
01-13-2006, 03:30 PM
or maybe his just voicing his opinion?

sorry for DP, but look at this.........

Adiobird---Yea, my AWS lasted forever.

and compare it to this: adiobird------
Alien Workshop- Some people like em, I dont. I skated on mine, and it lasted a few months. other ppl, tho, have good ones. Alot are good. Good pop for a couple months, medium concave, good board

then compare it to this: adiobird------
I dont know about that one, but AWS sucks. I have one and i HATE it

*im sorry, but those opinions vary WAY too much.
if this is based on ADIOBIRD's opinion, why does he say he doesnt like them, but they are a good board?

lol, and i was browsing through his recent posts and found this: 09-12-2005 Ollie 11 inches, rock n fakie, pop-shuvit, nosestall, ollie North, Boardslide, and Casper 09-25-2005 My ollies were 10 inches or so after 3 months of skating 3 hours daily. 10-02-2005ok, My ollie is 14 inches, and i can popshuvit, so Im trying kickflips 10-08-2005 Started at 11, and have been skating for 4 months (Im a fast skater) 11-13-2005:Im pretty good at flips. I learned the shuvit in 10 minutes, the pop-shuvit in 2 days, and i got the heelflip and kickflip FLIP in one day, but i cant land it.

they tend to vary too, dont they?

I agree with Spenser. Kid, you have no clue what you are talking about. Everyone should just disreguard this, and don't take advice from this dude.
