Welcome to Ramprage Skateboarding Beginners section - an area dedicated to all the noobies of skating. This is NOT a trick trip help area. This is for anyone wanting to get started in skateboarding and has some questions about the sport, etc.

And to all you super pro amazing riders - don't pick on the new guys. You were hatchlings once yourself too, noobie.

Cheers

Steve

I'm new to this site and pretty much a novice to skateboarding. First question being... is this where I'm supposed to post my beginner questions or am I just to post in the Beginner forum? I don't see anyone in here, which is why I ask.

probablt 98% of the people here fit in this category.

ive noticed that. the average skater here is a "noob" and the level of skating is pretty low.
its not bad, and im not saying that at all, but yeah.

^just because not everyone has the most amazing knowledge on what decks to buy doesn't mean they're noobs.

i think spenser was fair enough right. as in, most of the vids/trick tip threads aren't overly advanced.

Yes, but once you reach a certain point in skatebaording. You become self-sufficent in learning tricks, you know what's going wrong and how to change it. There no need to post asking for advice on a deck/shoes or a trick. Sure, there is alot of less advanced skaters on here, but there's also a fair few decent ones knocking around too. Perhaps they go slightly un-noticed as they don't post in most of the 'n00bish' help threads which are abundant on the site.
