Well, me being an old fogey and all, i've come to dislike just about..well everything. The one that is under my skin is the "do u like mi setup" threads. Come on people, do you really need to make a new thread? They made the little blog thingy for a reason you know. You do not have to take up thread space for someone to rate your new deck. Please refrain from the endless re-posts, and annoying "Rate my setup" threads. I have an idea, if you will listen. Maybe if one of the mods would make a stickey thread...something along the line of "The Setup Thread." Then maybe everyone could post in that, ask for ratings, and so on. It would be much more efficant, and the old fogeys like me could stop complaning about the endless tide of posts. So mods, sweep into action, please. Appease my whiney arse. =P

Snaker: Rictas are nice..I've never used them personally, but one of my friends uses them...I'm pretty sure. Bones=Always a fav in my book. CBS..Never worked with but they look tight I guess.

The Lib tech boards are amazing. I have been able to keep her for over a year. I dont skate much in the winter due to snow and grinding isnt my big thing so she has had a long life.

I used to have that deck, it was the best one I ever had. When I got it (from a friend), it had been used for about two years, then I used it for another year. It never broke, the tail just got too short, and it was very hard to pull off decent ollies. I'll try to get some photos.

Not a big fan of Ricta wheel because mine melted. Bones Ceramics are also pretty overpriced for what you get (I don't think they are silicon nitride ceramic balls aka the good kind) And I have never skated thunders.
It looks like it definitely gets the job done though.

rkorocks: You should get an Element AT ALL! They totally sucks like hell. Get a Habitat instead. They are really nice. I would recommand 7.75" widht. And Ricta's ain't the best - get like Bones STF or some Autobahns DuroGT. And get Krux III for the trucks instead. And Rocket Ceramic bearings instead (75$). They are seriously fast as hell. And if you really care about risers, get Dooks Shock Pads. And Silverados is the cool hardware with two silverbolts, so you can easily recognise the front and back of the board. And don't get colored griptape. Just get some nice, black Jessup!

Flatspots are literally Flat parts of the wheel, caused usually by Powerslides. And you can only prevent them by not sliding.
