Ok heres the deal, i have this sony handyman dvd camera and i film a lot of skate vids on it. The only problem is that i don't know how to put it on the computer and put sound to it and edit and all that cool stuff. Can anybody tell me what software i need or anything else i will need to pull this off? Thanks!

360 knows, he'll tell you later. Its something like, rip the dvd to your hard-drive then save it as an .AVI. Not to sure though.

The ez way is through usb 2.0 using supplied "Picture Perfect" software. A better way would be to run it through a NLE program like Vegas 6.0. If it doesn't recognize the device then try "ImTooRipper 2.0" and rip as a mpeg1 or 2 file and load it into a editor.
The Best solution would be to sell your cam and get a mini-dv cam.
