I've heard you rub some onto whatever you're waxing and then burn it so it stays slick.

God... wax on, wax off is NOT from waynes world or whatever, it was the slogan for some big name car wax company in the mid 80s-early 90s.

Give the object a light coating then run your nose/tail along the section you just waxed. Apply until it doesn't feel "gritty" when you slide your board on it.

BTW Ledge Butta is really nice wax. My friend stole my bar and refuses to give it back.

i do a agree but teh most effective way i have found is to do that thing where you wax then push your tail on it wax push wax push. Who ever said that. And it is a long process.

I do the circular motion most of the time

Un-wrap wax. Hold wax in hand. Lower onto curb/gutter/rail/etc. Apply force, rub up. Rub down. Perform circular motion with hand. Repeat untill smooth. =P
