I actually play guitar...but I have played drums before...and I can play bass. Once you get guitar, bass really isn't that far off. I admire people that want to play bass...because to many people think 'I will be cool if I play guitar!'...then buy one..say 'it's to hard' and quit..I've got two friends who have done it...no joke.

i like guitar but i like drums more it is just so different to be able to keep a rythm to make a song sound good because come on guys without drums there is not a song lol

I beg to differ, have you heard of Acoustic versions of songs? Yepperz. I do agree though...there's got to be a beat to the song...but some people can carry a beat better than they can strum a guitar.

As for not having musical talent, it's all practice. You practice, stick with it...and before you know it, you're good...can't let stupid little mistakes or setbacks....set you back.

I play guitar and bass....but i would give almost everything and anything in the world for my rents to buy me a drum set and somebody to teach me how to play...I've wanted to since I was 9 and my parent's wont friggen let me!! UGH!

Phoenix- do your future bandmates a favor and stick with the drums! It's mad hard to find a drummer here. I've begun the search for a drummer in my area, and now have a total of 3 'possibles'...all really good..but regardless...there's not many drummers around here, or musicians for that matter..lol.

Well.. I'd prolly go with bass, cause i already play guitar, and my parents wouldn't let me play drum :(... But either way i hate practicing and insturment sooooo idk! but yah bass is prettty cool.. i used to take guitar lessons with this bass player... he was like the best! Bass is my vote!

i have a bass and its cool and im pretty good at playing it .the only thing is that i need a challenge and bass is kinda easy so i switched to guitar. im multi tasking!!!!but yea guitar is f*ckin awesome
