Board wax is wax you would use on your surf board. There is no need for it in skateboarding.

Curb wax is wax you use on a curb. There is a need for it in skateboarding unless the curb is painted or already slick with something else. You can use any type of wax for a curb. Don't get suckered into paying 3-5 dollars for something with an Element logo stamped into it. Just buy some parafin wax from the grocery store. I've also heard dove soap is not only good for your body, but good for the curb too.

Yeah don't buy that skate brand wax crap. Just buy some parafin wax, or you can use those unscented white stick candles, you can get like 10 for a buck or 2.

ya light the candle so you let it melt and then let the drippings drip on the curbe then smear them around

How do you apply soap instead of wax to a curb? I've tried it, but the soap just got powder all over the curb and didn't slide.

i went to the craft shop and they had a section for candle making and i ought this bi thing if wax like 15 pounds of it for like 10 dollars

candles work just as good as any other wax you would buy at the skateshop

ive used surfboard wax before, it slides good and is pretty cheap but makes your board look like shit, i might try to use a candle

it is alot of wax its huge like 3 inches thick 2 feet long 1 foot wide go to your local crafts store iwent to the skateshop it ws 5 dollars for like 1/8 of wat i got at the craftstore

I always use the stuff from the skateshop, because when I first started I used candle wax and it was crap. But thats proberly 'cause I was crap.

Melt crayons together. It works fine, and is cheap. You just have to make sure you smear it around.
