How do you make the text show on the video?

I think I'm going to have to make a Vegas "How To" thread in the future, but for now I'll just tell ya whats up.

1. Click on "Insert" on your top menu line and Select "Video Track" or even better (ctrl+shift+Q) (note: you have to click in your editing area before using ctrl feature.)

2. Now select media generator on the bottom left and select "text"

3. Choose your text format and drag to your newly inserted video track. and edit from there.
