Okay, I've been skating for about 1 1/2 years and I still hadn't got the ollie yet. Until today. i was just messing around and practicing manuals and nose manuals, when I decided to try to do a moving ollie, even though I knew it wouldn't work. Well it did. I might not be able to ollie very high (1-6 in. is about my range of height), but i feel glad that i did it. I am also a little bit worried, because i got a STATIONARY ollie a while ago, and it was pretty high. But not as high as my old ollies, so i thought i was doing something wrong. I tried doing a different mthod the next day, and i didn't do it. i kept at this until i forgot my method of doing it in the first place. i'm worried that I will forget it again and won't be able to do it tomorrow. can you guys give me a little reassurance (and maybe a little congrats too :-3: )?
Thanks,
Sean C.
P.S. Now I can't do stationary ollies anymore!!!! :-2:
P.S.S. Sorry if you've seen this thread before. I meant to put it in this forum but...well i didn't. Any moderator that comes across this can delete the old one in trick tips if they want.

What I did was I got a decent speed and I ollied. Then when I landed I would do it again again and again. I kept doing that untill I got tired. This method works alot.

oh i can do an ollie and all that, I'm just worried about "forgetting" how to do it. Once I do one while moving, will I always be able to do one (more or less)?

Well congrats on the ollie. Hopfully you can get it higher and higher.

I wouldnt say its good that you can't do them, even if you can do ollies stationary you just don't its a bad habit. You shouldnt but if you can its ok as long as you can do them moving its all good.
