I usually do not worry about what other people think about my skating but I want to see where I stand compared to others this is what I can do aftr 8 months.

You can be able to do 900's but you still wont be a "real" skateboarder until you accept the fact that skateboarding is not a competition and you cannot rate someone. Skateboarding is philosophy.

I didn't want to make it a competition. I skate to have fun. I was just trying to see if I was at a good level. If not, I don't care. I would rather suck at skating and have fun then be the best skateboarder in my town and try to beat everyone at skate.

True, but skating seems a lot easier and better when you and the people you skate with are at the same level, like when we're all trying the same gaps and things it just feels better.
Oh and for only 8 months that's pretty good.
