Stand alone old schooler

I am one of the many skaters in my town. But I am the only one who really does anything old school. I mean, if my friends ollie stairs I boneless them, if they skate the street course I would skate the pool. Am I crazy for doing this or are there also some young people with the same thought?

It's whatever you like...i have met a few of the younger guys at the park. I thought i would be looked at as a kook. Instead they seem to dig this old guy doing old school. Don't let anyone put you in a box...skate the way you skate and have fun, dan't skate to be like everyone else.

I'm a bit of a transition skater now, was skating a 15 foot bowl the other weekend, it was close ot nirvana, next week the tricks will be insane.

I skate pools whenever I can. But the closet that is skatable is a 30 minute drive away at least and I cant drive yet. As soon as I can though I will drive to it every weekend.

My 15 year old son and his buddies love skating bowls. Have fun, anything else is selling yourself short.

I'm 16, and I am a also a Oldschool Junkie. <3

However, I also do Newschool stuff alot too. Both are great, but I think it's important to keep to our roots as skaters and atleast know about the old greats like Alva.
