View Full Version : starting on jumps

IM going to tahoe for the long weekend and was planning on starting to get seriously into jumps, ive done if before but just fooling around, so i was wondering on if anyone had any advice on where to start, i was thinking of doind at least a 180 for the first jump, sounds easy enough, and any other advice that you might think is helpfull........... yeah thats about it

nope snowboard forum is like abandonned. But I can do jumps REAL well on snowboards(just those damn rails left to get :cool: )...but yeah when ur inthe air keep your weight centered , and when u hit the ground crouch down to abosorb impact and to keep balance....

As for 180's/360, wind your body up B4 the jump then just as your leaving the ground unwind and bust out that spin and keep your weight center

and for grabs,...well just grab the board lol, grabs are easy enough man

just NEVER lean back in the air or going off a jump OR flail ur arms around mid air, it can cause you to go crooked

First you have to be shore that you have enought speed that is very importan. You do not wont to land on flat...

make sure you use ur head when spinning,because where ever you head goes, your body goes
