We had another great session at Santa Paula on Saturday. Here's a few pics for ya' all.

Still ignoring doctors orders, I can't not skate. 3 shots of my Backside Attack. (note finger splint)

I posted the X-Ray last week, it was hard to scan but you can still get the jist of it. I had to invert the color to bring it out more. Pretty crappy though.

The camera is a Sony Cybershot.

Ya kinda, Whoa! It was fractured as a result of the dislocation as well.
Are you a Doctor of some kind ?

Are you a Doctor of some kind ? LOL Yeah, Yeah, i thought you knew that already...The ER well, now Urgent Care. The volar or palm side ligament pulled off (avulsed) some of the bone correct? I can't see shiz from the pic but that is what usually happens. Or you can chip it off during the dislocation. Did your finger get bent backwards? How exactly did it happen?

I jammed it straight on into the cement, that X-Ray is looking at it from the side. The knuckle dislocated and slid over the top of the bone which caused a small fracture. Your right though, it did chip the bone as well when it dislocated.

Oh ya, to ADIOBAMV4, the bowls are about 7' to 9' there.

Bottom to top: The first bone in that shot is the Proximal Phalange then Middle then distal (top). Which is broken the proximal or the middle?

The Proximal.

OK, now going by the film.. looking at it the way it is ...which side is chipped, left or right side? or by looking at your hand back of hand or palm?

Looking at the film, the right side just below knuckle. You can kinda see a fuzzy lump right at the right top of the Proximal.

Those are a tad more serious than the other types of avulsion fractures because they tend to be unstable. As long as you don't do it again and the joint stays immobilized you'll be fine. But then again even if you do mess it up...what do ya use your pink for anyway ;0]

Playing my Guitar and scratching those hard to reach spots.
My physical Therapist taught me a bunch of stretching excersises for it but said this type of injury could take up to 8 weeks to heal totally. I'm trying my hardest not to screw it up anymore.
