Now, this is a story all about how
my life got twisted upside dow... wait no.
This is the story about yesterday and my trip to the skate park.
Me, SlimJim_junky, Dustin, and Casey all went to the skate park yesterday.
The park is about 2 and a half hours away. Dustin showed up to pick us up about 2 hours before he said he would, and on the way we got lost a few times, spent way too much time standing around, and eventually got to the park 30 minutes before it was to open.
The driver of the car freaked out, cause he thought the park wasn't open on that day. We tried to tell him we were just a bit early, but he insisted that "this is bull!", and he went and asked some random female if the park was open today.
The woman said that the park was actually closed down. She said it opens once every six months, to see if they can make money, and then they just don't have a big enough turnout. So they close it up and try again in six months. (this is an indoor park)
So, we decided to go to the nearest open park (other side of the state, 5 hours away), and we drove for an hour before realizing we were going the wrong direction. Then we turned around and went to the mall for no damn reason. We spent way too long in the mall, just wasting time, and eventually left.
We got back home and just skated at my house. We had wasted about 8 hours of a fantasticly clear Saturday.
ugh.
