:-46: Hey, Ive been very interested in skating lately, and I was wondering before I go out there and get me something to work with, What I really want is to longboard skate. So what Im wondering is, do I start with a regular skateboard and move to a longboard once I get better, or do I pick a longboard right away?
Reason Im asking is because I was told longboards are much harder.

I'd say just start with a longboard. In my opinion, it's easier to longboard.

ive never long boarded, but id think itd be easier. (longer wheel base) = (more control) i would think anyway. plus no need to spend money on something you dont want, just get what you want first

yea ive been longboarding for a couple of years now and i just picked up shortboarding. i think longboarding is a lot easier to learn and more fun if you have some sick hills to carve.

ive only seen one person ever long board, it was cool and he was flying down the hill and he looked like he was about to fall off, but he didnt though.

Longboarding is way better to start because you won't get frustrated trying to learn an ollie or something. You can just go at your own pace .
