What does it take to get sponsored?

What did anyone here have to be able to do in order to get sponsored?

Be able to rip, have alot of style, and win alot of contests.

Also image is like everything being sponsered... the only reason they sponser you is to make money from you.

talent, style, good attitude, unique tricks that stand out in a crowd, basically someone who other skaters like and look up to.

the only shop in my town is realy ez to get sponserd by if u can do a kickflip heres a sponser
but u dont get free decks u just get discounts the better u r the bigger ur discount

Can u get sponsored by shops which sell skate decks and all ur skate shit but they also sell surfboards, surf gear, skate clothes, surf clothes, normal clothes, skiing, snowboarding? I aint sponsored, i suk :p

i get tons of free stuff but only because I know the right people and do media related favours

yes you probably could but it all really depends on the shop, whether they want to sponsor skaters or not. you wouldn't be getting any free snowboard stuff or anything, you might get a discount on it if they just give you a discount for anything outside of the free stuff they give you. theres a twc surf and sport by me and they have a skate, snow and wakeboard team.

I'm currently workin on gettin sponsored.Its not that easy especially when there is no where to skate.But i've made the best of the spots.Just work hard and dont forget just to have fun doing it because then you forget the whole idea of skatin.
