Obviously. Elements are incredibly expensive..Like 50-70$..Check the prices of the blanks out. There cheaper by alot, and you don't sacrifice any quality either.

Trucks: Indys or Krux are my favorites. Thunder are highly rated too.

Wheels don't matter that much. Just get blanks.

Do decks really improve on your skateboarding ability? I don't really care if the board snaps easily as long as the board is good and it will help me do higher ollies or something liek that. Are Element really that bad? Doesn't the guy with the histest ollie record did the ollie with an Element? Also anyone know why when I bought my world they gave me world everything, trucks ect ect. I asked for Grind king but they gave me World, I think they told me why but I forgot.

Elements do have good pop and everything, but they're weak. That's why people don't like them. When you shell out $50 for a deck, you want it to last.

Pop is the springyness of the deck. The more pop, the easier it is to bring the board up.

yes they do improve your skating if you ride a board with little pop, you wont get that much flip into a board. yes Elements are bad, I had one and it snapped easy and it had bad pop.
the highest ollie ever done was by Danny Wainwright he rides for Powell Pro boards, not Element. his ollie was 44.5" in. high.

Okay Okay I kinda what an Alien Workshop deck now, but I don't know any good light ones. I want a light what because I heard that it helps make you ollie higher. I would get a fight since everyone here says it's liek the best deck, but I've never seen a fight at West 49.

also... the decks from one company arent really going to vary much at all. some have slightly different shapes, but size is really the only difference.

^^ LMFAO! your joking right? Anti-Hero is so much better than Zero and Black Label.
I've seen anti heros that have lasted about a year of hard skating, and if you skate a zero hard, the tail will snap quick. Black Labels aren't exactly known to hold up that well either.

Ok yes I bet you will get a workshop. You can getsomething they call superlights(or something like that) if it will make you feel better about the weight. They are great boards, I have owend 2. I highly recommend rasalibre(if you can find them), real, and krooked. They are all amazing boards that will last. Oh and I don't exspecialy like zooyork, mine lasted 2 weeks of winter skating.

Other than those two things I think people would like Element and maybe besides the fact that Bam skates them. I still might get an Element but I kinda want an Alien workshop.

Nah man I hate Bam. Anyway what you just said makes me no want to ge an Element. But look at it my way, I had a World which snaps easier than an Elements, had it for like 4 yours messed up on tricks lots of times on it. Right after getting the deck I skated like everyday for hours. I was able to ollie pretty good did a couple boardslides never snapped. After getting it I'll be skating everyday with it getting better landing the tricks better homefully it won't snap, also how do I tell when my deck loses it's pop?
