Etnies Arto's are very durable, and you might find a pair for 50 or so.
The grip isn't best, but it sounds like you want durability from your post.

i got black/dark grey off of www.skatewarehouse.com they're basically just black. i've only seen this colorway at skate warehouse, i haven't even seen it on the es site, if must have been in like the second colorway series and only skatewarehouse bought a bunch or something, i've had 2 pair tho.
