Hey people I don't think this is the right section but I'm just posting about how kickass skating is. Yeah okay that sounds like a lame post but whatever. Well I started skating 4 weeks ago, I always watched tons of skate movies and looked at the magazines and stuff and I finally got some cash and bought a deck. Well damn I can't stop skating I think someone needs to sort me out, I swear I skate every second I get...Well today I landed this 5 stack that everyone at my school says is real hard...Well it was hard for me and I was ****ing shitting myself but I got it after nailing myself a few times. I'm just real stoked that I can ollie over shit and ollie down stairs and stuff. I learnt to pop-shuv it too! And I can sort of 180 ollie but they are no where near perfect...But hell, I love this so much my girlfriend thinks I'm cheating on her with my board...

By the way, I'm a newb here, registered about 20 minutes ago. Ima be on here heaps (well, when I'm not skating that is :P)

Same way i felt when i started skating...only i was a bit to addicted, after about 3 months i started skipping class to go to all of the hot street spots before anyone else got there, i wouldnt come home untill 10:00 (when the lights went off at the local park), slacked off on my homework :D you know...the unimportant stuff.

I started out with an Edwards complete (Edwards is a New Zealand brand for those who dont' know) It did me well, but the deck lost it's pop very fast and now it feels really springy at the tail. So I bought a new Mystery deck. So right now I have

Mystery deck
Some random abec 5 bearings
'Extreme Team' trucks (rofl)
Edwards wheels

Pretty basic, I'm going to buy some new trucks this weekend. Can't wait! Oh yeah thanks guys for the welcomes <3
