Well today I was boardsliding and I snaped my World Industries Skateboard. The deck didn't snap in half but it's just hanging on, if I put a little weight i nthe middle it the middle of the deck goes to the grounds. I was gonna wait until June to get a new deck but I guess I have to go one soon. I'll post pictures when I find my digital camera.

It's all in the feet, make sure you don't land in the middle of the board next time! =]

Haha that's what happens when your board gets waterlogged then dried, old, or very beaten up. congrats.

Yup I have to admit my deck got waterlogged in the past I droped an opened water bottle on it once. Also I don't think this helps or not but I keep it in a very cold part in my house where this is no heatign what so ever i nthat room and it really cold in the winter, and as you know up in Canada it gets really cold.

I'm not sure the cold really affects it but it's possible that it might, ya never know. Anyhow I just snapped my deck myself =).

yea the cold makes it stiff, easier to break and the water bottle doesnt help either lol.

What do you mean it's trashed the deck sucks, or it trashed that you can't skate on it?

i snapped at least 4 decks trying to kickflip lipslide a handrail. i actually landed it a lot of times before it snapped. but anyways avoid doing fukkin lipslides. they are board killers.

the only reason it broke is beacause it was a WI board u should have known it would suck. Before u get a board post a thread about it on here to see what we think about it.

Don't get another world industries XD, i hate them. Everything about them sucks, exept for their designs which usualy lures new skaters in. Get a blank deck or something from your local skateshop/website that sells blanks.

No it wasn't, it could have happened to any deck, it was nearly 3 years old.. Some decks may be stronger than others, but there's nothing much in it when you try a big drop or something, even the strongest of decks will break if you land your feet wrong.
But yeah dude unlucky, learn from your mistakes and try not to snap (m)any more ^_^

I've never snapped a deck :(. Even landing in the middle of one on a 9 set wouldn't do it! I must just have that magic touch ;).
