I've been skateing for like a month and I think it's awesome! Although its weird when me and my friend are skating together we all rock but when were not together we dont do as well. My friend normally with me can pop shuv it down he's stair but alone he says he cant even ollie down it.

Try watching skate videos, listening to music, or going to a skate park so you can get more confidence.

generally I like to practice technical hard things on my own, and try scary stuff that's easy to do but just scary to land with friends. Like I might practice some advanced flips on my own but with friends I'd just do things I already can and apply them to stairs and curbs and stuff and just have a good time. No point in practicing stuff when your skating with your friends.

you pretty much have to practice 24/7, rain or snow. i do that and now im just as good as i am with my friends. you could also get a secret spot to practice so that if your friends come by, they won't know where you are and you can keep skating.
