get fs shoves good first and then the pop is a little different from a fs shove, a fs shove you scoop it more and for a hardflip you want to push your foot out sort of like a fs shove only have more off a pop by kicking it down more. when i learned them i found out that i had to flick my front foot a little earlier than i did with a kickflip because my front foot would always stop it from rotating the shove it part and would flip it too much so by flicking it a little earlier it didn't stop it from doing the fs shove part and stopped it from overrotating. hope some of that made sense and go out and practice these because you just need to find out how to pop/flick these correctly then their pretty easy.

for the flick you kinda have to pull your foot around in like a half circle so that it pulls the board around to spin that way.

r u goofy footed ot regular, well they way i throw hardflips is i set my back foot as if i'm going to throw a variel heel and my front foot n kindof a kickflip postion but more straight with the board, then when u go and pop throw ur back to the front of out (away from u) and drag ur front foot up (straight up) and flick it like a kickflip when u pop the board.

u have to pop really hard for this trick.
at least i have to and this is how i do a hardflip, but keep asking around

I do it like a f/s flip. Set up like you are going to do a F/S flip. Your back foot should just have your toes barely on and your front foot should be like a kickflip. I probably wouldn't face forward like you would on a f/s flip (to get that extra rotation your need because you wont be rotating) So pop down hard and try to flip your board just like a f/s flip. Slide your front foot out and kick your back foot away. This will cause the board to flip up and your legs to be spread apart to let the board go between. Watch it flip and ride away.

I find it easier if you can front side flip first, but instead of doin the full body-varial, all you have to do is a 90 degree bodyvarial.

No need for this thread. The author announced that he quit skateboarding.

Something about his neighbourhood skaters getting mugged/shot just for being skateboarders. His grades were going down to.

Oh my god that sucks so much. He could have just skated in front of his house so that he couldn't be mugged.
