im getting a camera and i was wondering if a fisheye really makes a difference in the video

not really, nowdays fisheyes are completely overused an uninventive. I prefer a nice long lens shot. But you'll probably want one for filming lines, allows you to get close and makes it easier to film.

fisheyes are tight unless you misuse them, which people often do

a fisheye can make things look bigger than they actualy are but if you misuse them then they can make things look the oposite, in my opinion long lens shots look more efective but in lines fisheyes work better

I love fisheye shots but yes they are Very over used and never over use your fisheye shots casa hopless yeah longlens shots are great....well thay are now never realy was a fan of them but...there the only shot thats not over used nowadays!

I like to go both ways, not sexually, but when it comes to filming I will film a trick in long lens and fisheye just so that I have more options whilst editing.

you'd all probably real scared of doing the not overly used fisheye shots since youve gotta be literally 5 cm from the object the move out in a direction preferably not backwards. it's hard to explain, goto frenchfred.com and look at his digital video clips, its the one spot where the dude does something on the blue ledge in barca with specks of different colors in it, forget the trick, shit.

I like fisheye shots.Longlens are a bit more creative like ^^^^ said.
