You can ask the community to drain it. But I doubt they'll even feel sorry for you. "A little boy wants us to drain a whole lake to get his skateboard out."
Well now you've learned your lesson. Next time your skating there set something up infront of the part of the lake your friend's deck went into. Or just find a better spot, I don't know.

Even if you did get it, it'd be waterlogged more than a drunk frat boy in a frozen river. And yeah, I know that simile sucked.

lol I lost my skateboard in a poolonce, but it was just a walmart brand. I did the old ollie over the side and into a pool. So yeah it was waterlogged....no point in trying to get urs back man

Indeed. But jump in anyway...Throw on some old jeans, take of your shirt, grab some old work gloves, and go look for it with goggles. :\
Watch out for dead homless men, The Champlain Monster, and hyperdermic needles.

But I hate when people step on your grip tape with dirty and wet feet, it makes me so mad.

You dont know whats in it? Its a freaking lake what do you think is in it, the lock ness monster?
For christ sake take off your shirt and throw on some shorts and jump in... It cant be too far out. Even if the board is screwed up you can still salvage some parts if they didnt rust. Its worth it to try.

I won't give an opinion on what to do to get it out, BUT, I will say that next time, hopefully you won't get yourself in these situations, by just learning NOT to skate by big shits of water.
I feel for you. If it was a decent deck.

Are you serious? The bearings would be rusted, grip tape ****ed, and the board would be waterlogged. I'm guessing the trucks would be messed upl.
