use your shoulders man. Twist up, and pop and release those arms. they will look retarded at first, but style comes in later on. :)

The best way to learn how to 180 is moving, even if you're rolling slow. I reccommend trying it with a bit of speed though. Learning how to pop shove-it may help you too. Slightly wind your shoulders up, set up as you would to pop shove, pop the board, and instead of just shoving it so it spins by itself, use your back foot to guide the board as far as you can, and unwind your shoulders to help complete the 180. Hope this helps. AIM me if it doesnt.

Alright this is a pretty easy trick i learned how to do it in like 3 days 2 weeks ago make sure your comfortable with ollies and high speeds that'll help and make sure you have a decent amount of board control....

Step 1. For begginers get rolling slowly not to fast though a whatever you find comfortable.....

Step. 2 Get into ollie position but have a little more of your front foot on the board then you normally would when doing an ollie......

Step 3. Alright this is the key right here...... start twisting before you pop your board!

Step 4. POP! drag your foot up and keep twisting.......

Step 5. Land and roll away happy.

this may take a while for some people but its an easy trick and shouldnt take long to master once you have it down try doing it fakie its really easy and the opposite way of which you learned it first (BS, or FS)

The most common problem with this trick is when your about 90 degrees or less through your spin the board flies out from under you this happens because your weight is not properly dispersed. you MUST keep your weight over your board.

Well i hope this helps you shadow and any1 else that need help on 180's :-2:

+ive been trying to put up :-22: vids :-22: but my cameras broke when its fixed i will attempt to do so........

Wait, you said the board wont turn? Well my friend had this problem when he first tried one. What you do is tilt the board a tiny bit so you can twist it around. Dont even bother leveling it out, it wont change the landing much. After you get good, just tilt less and less, youll get the real thing eventully.

Try working on spinning around when you do a manuel. Then just do the same thing but after an ollie.

Im trying to master these, when i first started learning them, I tried doing 90's stationary then working my way up, plus it helps with boardslides :-6:

Do some power slides. That will get you to turn harder when you do a 180.

its kinda in the scoop i'd say. wind up your should and bend your knees a lil lower. when u hit the pop release your shoulders so it unwinds the rest of your body should follow. if now i'd say get off your board and try keeping your legs str8 n a lil bent and do 180 jumps

i started skating 2 weeks ago and i landed my first f/s 180 ollie. I can't seem to get it perfect again though. But the thing is when i do it i don't really try to ollie or it doesnt feel like im actually olling. i just put my front foot pretty far up on the board(right over the first 2 front bolts) pop the tail and spin my body. But I also have the problem sometimes where the board goes flying and I almost kill someone (my cousin). If that dont happen i land with my balance of and my wheel bites and i have to jump off. I say the control is all in the front foot. But im only 2 weeks a skater so dont take my advice to seriously.
