Okay, I gotta say this. I know I'm already not the most liked guy here, and this isn't gonna really help, but I really feel this needs to be said.

I'm sick of all the Bam haters. They are the definition of "hater." Bam Margera didn't kill skateboarding. It is still alive and well, and just got a huge boost in funding from all the *****s Bam has created.

If you were a skateboarding company, if you actually owned one, would you not want to sponser him? He is the ultimate person to sponser because he is so huge. Element has made so much money off of him. That it ultimatley what people get sponsered for. So they can gain fans, and their fans can buy merchandise from whatever company they are sponsered by.

And can you honestly blame Bam for what he's doing? Would you not cash in on that HUGE amount of cash he is payed, just to act like yourself? I mean he went from Jackass, which was just having fun with his friends, to having his own show, which is STILL just having fun with his friends. ...Don't most pro skaters start out SKATING by just having fun with their friends?

And you can't tell me you wouldn't do exactly what he was doing if you were in his shoes.

And besides, he doesn't completely suck at skating anyway.

The thing about him that annoys me is throwing the stunts and pranks crap in his video parts. I want to watch skating when I buy a skate video, not someone jumping into a pool or something. It's boring.

I dont like how Element put Bam as the front cover, just so they could make money off it, they have a good team, lots of potential, and I dont see why they need him to make him their #1 person, they need to make better boards, and kick Bam off their team or make him am.
Ill buy their boards if they were better, but they suck in my opinion.

Element are a ****ing good team, they have everything now, they finally got their Vert Man. They have Tosh Townend and Jake Rupp, they are the tough street dudes, Mike V is the old skool, boneless, footplant wizard, and he is super tough, he can take a fall. Bucky is one of the best vert skaters in the universe and he can throw down some runs on the street courses on occasion too. Colt Cannon is juts really really tech (not Mullen tech though :( but pretty nuts). Jeremy Wray, well i don't know too much about him to be honest. They have Vanesa Torez, the female skater (a total DOG but decent skater), they have Nyjah Huston, the little kid with a big appetite, FOR SKATING! The Am's, which are REALLY good, so they are getting through to some of the kids, so not all Element fans are '*****S'...

and finally, Bam Margera, this guy rips skateparks into shreds on occasion, he does focus his life on the TV shows and his stupid stunts but that cannot take away his AWESOME mini ramp skills... Bam is great.

He IS a sell out and so is Sheckler nowadays, he uses his face to sell products.

So what if he's being himself, maybe some people just plain old don't like him. Maybe it's his style, maybe it's the fact he seems like an ass. I don't like him because I don't like his style and he seems like an ass.

He's a sellout and doesn't deserve to be pro, I can understand the marketing purpose but that's not how I think of it usually. Great marketting usage(sp?).

So yeah, some people just hate/dislike him, some greatly disrespect him also. It's part of life live with it.
