Will skating in cold weather weakin your board or does it get weak when you skate outside? Should I skate w/ an old deck when its cold?

umm actually cold won't weaken it long term but i have found that cold will make the board alittle more brittle. you should be fine but boards do snap alittle easier in the cold. once i saw 4 boards break within 20 min up at the outdoor park on a cold day. you'll probably be ok, but if you think about it, it makes sense. cold freezes/stiffens your board and then it snaps easier, it isn't as flexible. i'd just try to stay away from those kickflip fs lips, those are harsh on decks. usually the only thing that the cold does for me is freezes them bushings so they're really stiff, i hate that but whatca gonna do? oh and i hate skating gaps in the cold because it hurts way more to fall in the cold. **** cold, its 12 degrees out but i'm headin up to the park right now for the aws/habitat demo.

^^^^Kids settle down now..... About the cold i think so, i was skating today and i landed a bad ollie and my grip slid right off! I had to go to dicks and buy some generic grip that wasnt actually too bad, and i've chipped my board alot more in cold weather.
