called practice man. On that note. Try to go with your board, easier said then done I know but thats what you have to do...unless its flying across the room, then its just your swinging it to hard and kicking out
just skate dude

you will get it in time man. Is fs easier for you because most people think bs shoves are abunch easier maybe you should try them. Just practices it will take a lot more then 50 trys to land one.

Don't.
You're messing this up because you're trying overly hard to spin the board, and not neccesarily aiming to pop it. Practice putting about 66% of your energy DOWNWARD, and then the other 33% into actually spinning the board. Hope this helps, and if it doesn't, I'm always on AIM.

You're supposed to jump with your board if it goes away from you.

You can avoid that altogether if you do what I said.

Not when you're a beginner. You'd need to be able to stay in the air really long to land on the board once it spins all the way with your technique, and most starters don't have that ability.

okay so u wanna learn a shuvit. put your front foot a little lower than the middle of the deck. then put your back foot flat on the board with your heels hanging out. pop the board with your back foot and shove the board with your front foot. then land it. dont do this move when your moving fast because its impossible.

One thing that made me and all of my friends land a pop shuv it, is to set yoru board up on a curb or something of similar height. Set it so the trucks would be grinding the curb and your toes are point off the curb. Then pop shuv it down the curb. This will teach you to jump forward with your board. Give it a shot. It just may work for you.

You know, if you can't pop shove it then maybe you shouldn't be telling other people that the board you use is good.

First of all, I get the board to pop really well and I get the spin. I'm just having trouble landing.
Oh yeah, I almost landed it while going b/s.

maybe you should try putting your front foot on first then right after level it out with your back foot.... thats how i do mines. i do it the oposite way wit fs shoveits

I pop the board perfectly and the way I spin the board gets it to even out. Today I landed with my front foot on the board and my back foot landed on the toes but with the heels on the ground. I got so annoyed after that. Then I focused all of my anger and landed a 360 bertslide. YAY!!! :p

this is a first...ive never heard of anybody saying f/s pop shuv its are easier than b/s...i can do both and i think f/s is harder. Anyways i had the same problem as u when i started learning this trick, my back foot always landed and my front foot never landed on the board...what i did was try to hang in the air longer so i could land both feet on the board...just tuck ur front leg up and bring it back down once u see the spin almost over...and aim for the bolts, dont be afraid of falling. that is the reason MOST ppl cant land tricks, they're afraid of falling

I had the same problem doing b/s and f/s 360 shove-its. But yeah height and the fast spin is the key.
