You can download a free GIF Animator from somewhere on the net (search for one) and use that to making animated avatars.
Im going to do one soon. Hopefully.

Get ya images u need for ya anitmation and then search for "Animagic32", i used to use that its free, very small file size and easy to use.

I think its better making your own because it shows that you worked for it yourself and your individual because no one else will have the same one, plus you can use real images.
You could take a squence shot and use that for a avatar. mmmmm pretty good idea.

well i helped snaker and darkhawk with them :) but yea you go to badassbuddy.com and thats where u get them from they have ones for skateboarding and all kinds of stuff some of them are so good you can't pick lol
and in order to put them on here so u don't send them to aim you just save them like you would a pic from a site

You should use a .gif editing program, and resize those AIM icons to something like 80 x 80 or something, instead of the default 50 x 50...that's small.

I went to that one http://www.badassbuddy.com and i put the link to the avatar on the thing and everything, but it wont show, it just shows the first avatar on the avatars this site has to offer! Whats up with that?? :confused:

right-click on the icon, click "save picture as. . . ," and upload it off your computer, instaed of doing it off the internet. plus, after you do the "browse" thing, you have to check the "use custom avatar" box right above it
