usually Vert Decks are wide like a 9'-10' and Street decks are thinner like 7'-8.25'.

Oh okay thanks, I always thought that a brand of skateboard made vert decks. For exampel I thought Birdhouse made Vert decks.

Some companies such as birdhouse make decks for vert, usually a bit wider, not too much though, around 8-8.5" or something, not as big as 9 or 10. The usual decks, like 7.25-7.75 are made for street, easier for flips and stuff, although some people like wider decks like an 8" max usually. They don't really change in how they are made or the quality, just a little wider.

Vert decks are pretty much the old school decks. Street decks are the skinny ones.

No.... 8.0 max? spenser, a member here rides 8.5's, and a whole lot of pro's ride even bigger boards.

actually, i ride 8 to 8.25, not 8.5
theres no such thing as street or vert decks.
size doesnt mean anything, either. its just that vert riders tend to ride the bigger boards (around 8.25) because youre floating in the air so much, and it would be way scary to try to do that on a little board.
pool boards are 9+ inches, basically.
