u could just ollie do a 90 degree turn and land horizontal making sure u put ur weight to the back so u dont fall foward. Thats about the only thing i can think of.

I don't see how putting your foot on the ground will put a hole in your shoe. The ground isn't spiky.

if you constantly scrape your foot across the floor it will loose its grip and become thinner and thinner then eventualy put a hole into the shoe

Then don't scrape your foot on the floor, just put it down and you'll stop immediately.

I'm sure youre familar with momentum and gravity, right? If you're going with any sort of speed, you won't come to a complete and sudden stop. If you slam your foot down like that, you grind the sole of the shoe into the asphalt even harder, or your board will roll out from under you.

I didn't ask for a smart comment. Im new to Skateboarding so it was easy enough to come here and ask. Thank you for all the help. :-41:

Try varying how you stop so your shoes don't get worn down quick, I usually either put my foot flat down to stop myself quickly, drag the toe of my shoe along the floor to slow myself down, or to slow myself quicker, like slam the back of my board down, although instead of the wood scraping, make my foot scrape, so the deck doesn't get razortail.

If you put your foot down and then use your leg muscles to stop your board, you will stop immediately. End.

or if you lean over to turn fat enough, and flip it on its side that's what I do sometimes, other than power sliding.

How about you just put your foot down? You usually don't have to stop so fast and hard that you will wear through your shoe.
