Well depends, usually a ramp is a kicker, like just a sloped ramp with a drop off the other side, useful for helping get more height.
Something like this-

A halfpipe is literally half a pipe, from the side on looks like a semi-circle...

A vert is just a halfpipe, like halfpipe skating is usually referred to as vert skating because when your doing the tricks you're usually vertical.
Hope this helps.

just to clear that up alittle more. its not because your usually vertical. they're called a vert ramp because the ramp actually get vertical at one point. a 12 ft vert ramp will usually have somewhere around 4 ft of actual vertical ramp. the ramp goes up and past the transition and then will actually be straight up, 90 degrees. i guess technically a vert ramp doesn't have to be a halfpipe, it could just be a single quarter pipe with vert on it (quarter pipe-half of a halfpipe, 1/4 of a full pipe, get it? just like one wall of the halfpipe shown above). there is also a such thing as an oververt ramp. meaning the ramp actually goes up past vertical and curves inward. theres a 12 footer at one of the local parks here and its pretty gnarly getting up on the oververt-scary too. there was one dude that was in town for a bowl comp and he did bs smith on the oververt- that shit was crazzzzzzy!!!
