braces

how many people on RR have (or have) braces (for their teeth:cool: )?????. cause i got mine fitted yesterday and it doesnt hurt much but i carnt really talk properly and also i carnt eat well :(:mad:

so i ask... how many people have had/have got them??:confused: :rolleyes:

I have them now. I've had them for almost 8 months now, and don't like them at all, lol. When you first get them on they're going to hurt like hell for about a week. Then they'll feel better, and everytime you get them tightened/something done to them, they'll hurt for a day or two and then feel fine. I get mine of at the end of 8th or before then :(

i have braces now ive had them for almost a year never hurt exept today they had to regule some bands and the cut my mouth it bled like crazy ive taken like 7 asprin for it and it still hurts

i have em... i've had them since february, and atfirst they hurt like hell and lots but im used to them now, but the really annoying thing aboot them is when food gets stuck in them... thats annoying....im gettin e off like next yeer or somethin nd they are almost straight now so... alwell but they get better after awhile and soon you will forget youhave them someties, i do... but um its good inthe long run? you dont want yourself crooked teeth do ya?

Ive got 1 and its keeps breaking damn thing. Ive had it for about a year now. The little blue spacer things are the ones that hurt the most.

lol Am I the only person who doesn't have braces?? The dentist is like "You've got a lot of room in your mouth, which is good, your teeth are going to be like your mom's perfectly straight." So yeah, I guess I'm lucky? :D

ive never had em... i have natural strate teeth. i DO have two fake teeth that i got from dentist when i chipped em...

I kinda need a brace for my top teeth, one of my front teeth ova laps another a tiny bit.
But i dont want them cos i hate em and i cudnt stand wearing them for a real long time (a year or summat).

I oughta have braces cause i went to a summer camp and sum dude hit my top front teeth with a big stick and one of my teeth are crooked now..it also busted my lip and everyone thought I was gonna cry and i just asked for a paper towell. :D

i used to think braces were cool too, but i kinda figured out that id look gay with em, new haircuts and everything make me look stupid, anyway ive never had braces but i dunno if i need em cause i havent been to a dentist in like a year

i'm probably gonna get them, i went to the dentist and he said my teeth were naturally bad, like a 9 out of 10 in how bad they are. so, my braces await me. . .

Nope I think they kinda look cool on some chicks but on some not lol Im yeah I have perfect white straight teeth and I'm thankful like only 1 of my friends have them.

Nah, I've never had braces or anything -- but my ortho told me once that even though I didn't need a retainer, I could have one if I wanted to :-9:

Over here where I moved, all the people are rich so almost EVERYBODY has them for some reason. I guess a lot of people don't get braces when they really need them because their parents can't afford them. I don't blame them because they are at outrageous prices.

i was doing nose slides when i got stuck on the ledge and i fell right on to my mouth and my brace dug right into my lip. it got stuck in there and i had to pull it out of the inside of my lip. it hurt greatly and it bleed forever. owwwwwwwwwww!

i've dun that a couple of times on a halfpipe... slid down it for fun and fell forwards and the wire from ym brace sliced open my top lip and.. it didnt really hurt that much but it stang and bleed forever, i also had to have 2 stitches from it happening
