Yes. You're sliding instead of rolling so it's slightly harder to control, and ollieing is hard because the tail digs into the snow. Also, with skateboarding you can easily move from spot to spot, but with snowskating you have to run up to the board, jump on it, and use the momentum to pull off a trick until you stop moving. It's easy to transfer your tricks from skateboarding to snow skating, though.

what smurf said and if you can skate, there is a big chance that you will be good at when you start

snow skating takes a lil bit to get used to, but its not too terribly different

season is almost over for me thank god cuz i streets are clearing up for skating.

i have to get a new snow skate for next season

i just started snow sk8ing and i love it. i can already 50 50 my freinds rail. and do some tricks off picnic tables.
