Why me!?!?!?!

This is the worst thing that could happen to me. I ended up tearing my ACL, PCL, and MCL completely in half. (Those are ligaments in your leg if you didn't know) My knee is extremely swollen, and it hurts extremely bad. It'll at least take me a year or so to be able to get back to my normal self. I'll have to get surgery on my knee just because I tore my ACL completely in half. My MCL and PCL will grow back together.

I was going up for a boardslide and the rail wasn't slick enough my board stopped and I flew at least 5 feet. I landed on my left leg and it went one way my body went the other. It hurt so bad.

The guy (Jake) in which I beat in the King of the Skatepark championships was the person who saw me first. He knew I was in pain, and in trouble by how fast my knee was swelling and he carried me up to the front desk.

He practically saved my ass.

I'm going to post some pictures of my knee....As you'll see it's extremely swollen and it hurts worse than it looks. :( I'm extremely hurt by this...

More emotionally than physically. The fact that I won't be able to board for a long time really is catching up to me. Beside that I have basketball and softball. My social life won't be the same. I'll be constricted from activities that I would love to join in but I won't be able to because of my knee injury. :(

DA-DAMN!! that sux!! well at least you had someone around to help you otherwise you might have been in worse shape. just be sure to do whatever hte doctor says because i hurt my ankle badly a while back, was told to stay off of it but didnt. now im still haveing problems with my left ankle

my god...my knee was almost as bad as that when I messed it up playing football...good luck getting back to skateboarding...and I promise ya..it's going to be a bitch during theorpy to get your legiments back to full strength so that you can actually do something with you leg!! GET BETTER SOON!!!

That's why happened. I'll be going for physical therapy really soon. And I'm getting surgery as soon as they figure out when to get me in, and when would be the best time to do it.

:( Yeah...a year....I went to the doctors this morning. I got a brace. So it should be a little easier to keep it straight. I've thought out a lot of things, and Mike (Mrock), and Sean (Blind) Have been helping tremedously and I can't thank them enough for it. They've been saving my sanity from not being able to skate any. I talked to my doctor, he asked how I managed to tear 3 ligaments in my leg...lol I got all excited and told him the story I was like "I was goin up for a boardslide, the rail wasn't slick enough, and whack, I flew like 5 feet, and bam, hit the ground and I went this way, and it went that way..." lol He knew what I was talking about....My doctor kicks ass! His names Dr. Shelbourne, he used to be the sports medicine doctor for the Indianpolis Colts.

He told me the other skate stories he's gotten before...I'm just glad I didn't do what a lot of them did....He had another patient in there he wants me to meet. He's a boarder, he tore the same 3 ligaments only he was doing something on a vert. I haven't really gotten the full story. But I've got physical therapy session coming up this Thursday at 7. And I'll meet him there. Because we're going through therapy together, Dr. Shelbourne thinks it might be easier for the both of us to talk to each other, and get to know each other since we won't be able to skate, or do much for that matter. His names Jeremy, he's 14, I guess he's a pretty god skater. I'll find out for you guys though.

P.S. Here's a look at my cast I got today. It works really well. See there is a knob on the side of it and the doc tightens it up every week so I get a better bend in my knee..cool eh?

Well that was when i was bmxing, i went ova this HUGE dirt jump and me bein the dick i am, i pressed the brakes in the middle of the air LOL.
I landed wiv the brakes pressed in, then i flew forward off my bmx, into a sharp patch of bladed grass, slit my neck (bleeding) and then popped my left eye ball in it.
All the goo inside came out. Im not jokin, i went to the hospital n everythin.

uh...ew.....thanks guys it's been going pretty good now. i've gone to my physical therapist a lot, and she is awesome. jeremy (the kid there who fell off a vert ) he's really cool, and i'm glad dr. shelbourne had us meet, it's a little easier to talk to someone when your going through so much pain. well, you all stop worrying about lil 'ol me, and get out there and skate your hearts out!!!!!!

Also, somemore good/bad news, (dunno if it's good or bad) I register for school today. I'm kind of excited, considering summer went by pretty fast, and the school year will too. I've got some pictures and posters and such I'm going to put in my locker....Yeah, and I get my school books.... :-/ Which is crap...I don't want an Algebra book lol I suck at math but they say I'm "Above average" w/e....Anyways, how's everyones skating going?? I'm interested...:D

That sucks about Surgery Megan :( Mike said that to me and I sang 'Happy Birthday to you.....' . I don't want Algebra book either, but as you said, I'm 'above average'. They made me take the SATs at 12 years old(your age),.And I get to take them again when I'm 15. The world is so cruel sometimes, LOL.

Luks like im out of skatin for a couple of months too now.
Im a regular footed skater so my left foot goes first on my board.
And i have a VERY bad ingrowin to nail on my big toe on my left foot so i cannot do any kind of flip tricks at all, i can barely ride my board.
Instead of waitin a whole year for the surgery on my toe, im gettin it next wensday (cool) but after that, i cant skate for lyke 4-6 weeks!
THATS THE REST OF MY SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!!! THE WHOLE HOLIDAYS WITHOUT SKATIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHH FUKKIN HELLLLLL!!!!!!!!
Sos but it pissed me off so much.

I'm not going to a University...Just a local college called Normandale...nothing big and exciting....

I'm out of skating for the next few weeks....I passed out today at work and spent the rest of the day in E.R....they also found some other stuff wrong with me so i'll have to be taking another week off of Ramprage to go get all the stuff fixed....I'll talk to you all in a week
