Heres a review i did

Alright we will start off with some basics.
Manaul settings-
The optura 10 does house all of the manual settings. There is exposure, white balance, shutter speed, manual focus. all of these are very easy to use. To get to your manual settings you will press you menu button and then choose what you want to do.
To white balance- Choose SET and then press the center of your scroll wheel to select it. You will then need to point the camera at something white, or whatever you are wanting to white balance off of. Different colors will give you a different tint.
To set shutter- To set the shutter choose SHUTTER on the main menu using the center of your scroll wheel. Once you select it, choose what you think will be best for you. On sunny days when its nice i like to use 1/60. But depending on the lighting and such, i change it up a bit.
Now for your exposure. On the side of the camera there is a small button for exposure. Its located on the lcd side of the camera. You can press this and move it around using your scroll wheel. You can choose what is best for you in your lighting situation.
Manual focus is simple to use. There is also a button on the lcd side of the camera for the manual focus on the camera. Once you choose it you can focus using the ring around your lens on the front of the camera. You can use this also to create un focusing effects with the camera.
Lens's
There are many different lens's you can use with the camera. You can use wide lens's,Fisheyes,Telephotos. The lens's below will all fit the optura with no use of step up or step down rings.
The most commonly used len's used with the optura 10 are the kenko .43x fisheye,Century optics .3x or the raynox .3x lens.
The best fisheye on the optura is most deff the century optics "baby death". This lens gives you maximum wideness and the best quality glass. To get the lens to its best wideness you can use spacers to space the lens from the camera. You can either use 2 or 3 spacers on the camera. I currently use 2 and it is great. I have heard 3 spacers vigs like vx1k with mk1. The lens runs about 270.00 and the spacers can be up to 10 bucks.
The second lens you could use with the optura is the kenko .43x fisheye. This lens is great for begginers because it doesnt get you so close, so you dont have to worry about being hit by a board or messing up your lens. The kenko is a decent wideness. You can film lines with it, unlike alot of wide lens's. You can also put spacers on this lens to get it a little wider. Alot of kids try and take the macro off to make the lens wider... its really doenst help, it makes the footage look like crapp too. I used to use this lens, and let me tell you, the best out of it is with the macro on and maybe 1 or 2 spacers. This lens is about 40 bucks and the spacers can be up to 10 bucks.
The raynox is also a choice lens of some. The raynox is a clip on lens. Which means... well it doesnt always stay on the best. I have used one of these also, and i didnt really like it. The lens is stated to be a .3x but it is maybe just a bit wider then the kenko, no where near the century optics lens. This lens can fit cameras with 27mm filter size to like 46mm size. You can use spacers with this lens, just screw them on and then clip the lens on. This lens is also okay for begginers, but the kenko will be your best bet. This lens also runs around 40.00 and the spacers could cost you up to 10 bucks.
Batteries and chargers
You can get alot of batteries for the optura. Cuz most of use know, the stock battery that comes with the camera just doesnt cut it for some of use session junkies. We need alot of power. Well there are pretty much 2 batteries that are worth your time with the camera.
The first battery would be the stock battery. It will last you about an hour, depending on if you use the lcd or not. This battery will be alright until you get a new one. I currently own 2 stock batteries.
The next battery that you would really want to look into is the BP535 battery. This battery last a LONG time. The battery is rated at 8 hrs. I use this battery in almost every session. I have used it sometimes and not had to charge it for 2-3 days with sessions each day. The battery is very good. It is also pretty light and you will love it. This battery can be found cheap on ebay brand new for around17 bucks. But if you guy it right from canon, it could put you down about 90 bucks or so.
For the chargers you can just use your stock AC adapter that comes with the camera. You can just put the battery into the camera and then plug in the ac adapter and that will charge your battery.
You can also purchase an external battery charging base. This works good if you have multiple batterys that need to be charged in a short time. You can find these on ebay. Just slide the battery into the base and plug it in. These will prolly run you around 20 bucks.
Tapes
The best tapes to use with the optura are the sony premiums and fuji film tapes. No others really.
Handles
You can make many different handles for the optura 10 to use when filming lines. You can use the accessory shoe or the tripod whole to attach the handle to the camera. You can find tutorials on how to do so in the CONTRIBUTE SECTION.
Other then that, you can find many different accessories to mess around with on your optura. Theyre very nice camera's and you will be veryyyyy happy with it.
