ok so you wanna heelflip but you dont know how? well then i shall tell you.
1)ok so if you cant ollie DONT TRY THIS TRICK! learn to ollie first.
2)so heres the feet placement, put your back foot on the tail, but you want a little if your back of your foot off the tail.
3)front foot about 8 inches from the front bolts, and you want the front of your foot i little off the edge of the board.
3)your first want to start the ollie first, then you move on to the flicking.
4)flicking, you really do want to flick hard, if you dont then you will only get a half a one, but if your one of those people that wears a size 14 then DONT flick that hard, but if you wear a size like 7 then flick just in the middle.
5)sucking or tucking up, you want to jump high in this trick if you dont then the board will hit your legs, and you shall become fustrated.
6)oh yea i forgot, that DONT TRY THIS TRICK MOVING JUST DO IT STATIONARY.
so heres he basic order. ollie flick land. ollie flick land. ollie.....flick.....land....ollie...............fl ick.....................land.......
:-2: i hope this helps but if it doesnt then tell me and ill edit it or just PM with questions.

That's awful and I doubt it'll help anyone. You should never practice stationary, there is no troubleshooting (although that would be horrible too), and the steps are so rushed that you've missed landing and there is no detail. Stick to letting other people make trick tips.

Just trying to help. Also, there wasn't any need for an ultimate heelflip thread in the first place.

8 inches from the front bolts? holy crap bud, check the danny scher heelflip trick tip on TWS.com, your supposed to put them right behind the front bolts.

smurf, i'm sorry, but you're comment has no sign of help whatsoever. 8 inches from the bolts is an automatic overflip.

This thread doesn't really need help. It wasn't useful in the first place.

Note: Front foot placement is totally different for each person. I used to have heelflips getting near waist high moving, and I heelflipped with my front foot ON the bolts..(well, covering 2 of the bolts, almost covering the very front two, but not quite) in ollie position, the only difference being my toe was turned about 1/2" to the right..that is it. Other than that, it was the same way I ollied, but I could pull em off fairly stylish. How? Cause I learned them like this.
I don't believe in "you're supposed to.."...if you do it good one way, and it looks clean, and it's consistent, stick with it. You shouldn't change something that works because it's different. That being said, you need to experiment and see what works best for you, because everyone is different.
Also, the BIGGEST tip for people who can flip the board but not land squarely over the board: KEEP YOUR BACK STRAIGHT. Bend down with your legs, keeping your back as straight as possible. You can look at your feet, just don't let yourself lean out over the board..this is why 90% of people don't land their heelflips correctly..weight distribution.
And the biggest trick tip of all that applies to any trick..practice..this is more important than any online tip.

I'm bored so I might as well contribute something.
Most people have the board go behind them when they heelflip. To fix this, straighten your back when you're preparing for the trick. If you can't straighten your back, jump backwards so you stay with the board.

What i do is i place back foot where only toes are on tail(heel in air) and front foot in the center so only heel is on board. I ollie and hit really hard, then bend my legs back to stay above board, then land when it finishes.

I'd have to disagree with most of what you wrote. Sorry bro... Coming from a guy whose has basicly mastured heelflipping it's really stupid to learn any trick stationary[not moving]. Then you pretty much have to re-learn the trick when you want to get it moving. Seriously, get a good speed then start practicing. You'll excell quicker. Also I can heelflip 4 inches off the ground, I dont need to suck my legs up. But hey maybe it's just me. I don't feel like critizing anymore.
