ey when i do my kickflips now, i put my backfoot like im doing an ollie but then for my front feet, i keep it like 3-4 inches behind the front bolt with like half of my feet on the board..i can land it like 1 out of 10, does anyone know if that can be affecting if i land the kickflip or not?? and also.. should i change my feet position before it turns into a bad habit or wut

well everybody has alittle different stance for kickflips, especially when they are just learning them. i would say the average feet position for a kickflip would be with the back foot like the ollie pretty much, and the front foot about 1-2 inches behind the front bolts at a slight angle, somewhere between 0 and 45 degrees. behind the front bolts i mean behind the rear two front bolts. everybody comes up with a weird little stance when first learning to help them with the flip, it will gradually get better over time and you will perfect it more as you get better at them. just start working your way towards a stance somethin like i described, just make sure as your trying to get you stance to evolve into this that you don't lose the kickflips while doin it. basically, if it works, then cool. just the stance i described is used by people that have a much more experianced kickflip than you and have found this the most comfortable and best for them, providing the best balance for riding and best flip control because some of the weird stances people come up with at first like how some people stand on their very tip toes and only have like half an inch of their shoe on their board is not very good for riding at a fast speed up to a gap, goin up a ramp or for rollin up to a rail or ledge. just keep workin at it and having fun.

yeah, i started with my front foot in like the middle of the board, and then just gradually put my foot higher and now my kickflip position is like 1 inch behind the rear front bolts, but lately i have been putting it like 2 inches farther down.
