As you can see in my profile, all I want to learn to do skateboard-wise is to freestyle like Rodney Mullen. Any tips?
P.S. For those who don't know, what I consider freestyling is doing flatland tricks like caspers, anti-caspers, truckstands, primos, etc., etc.

That's not the only reason I'm skating. when I said that I meant it to be "That's the first thing I want to learn" I'm still going to skate and do more tricks when I'm satisfied with my freestyling. I already can do pop shuvits, nollie shuvits, and BS versions of both, almost kickflip, I can do BS 180s, almost every stall, and BS boardslide.

k if you have seen rodney mullnes vids you will probly have seen the trick from where he is in primo and he does like a varial kickflip with two spins (not sure wat it is called) k well this trick is about my only good trick i can pull off. i learnt this before varialy kickflip. ok
1. Get into primo
2. make sure u are well balanced (practice holding onto something)
3. slowly move your right foot onto the edge of the board(left foot if goofy)
4. push down and back on the edge to give it a bit of a flick but dont try and spin it like in a shoveit or varial. try at first not even to get two spins just try on or 1 and a half or something
this took about a week to get right but is very impressive when pulled off

that's called a railflip from what i hear..i could be wrong...that was the first impressive trick i ever got consistently...some advice i can give for it is when you put you right(or left) foot on the edge, turn it parallel to the board...and lean more of your weight on it...this is basically for just learning it, it gets easier afterward...its a really cool trick...one of my favorites

i call it a rail flip-out because a railflip is when you are in a rail flip it and land back in a rail stance
