BMX kickflip help.

This has got to be the stupidess post ever, but ne ways, does it still count as kickflip if you do it still on the ground, and if not what is the name for that or can i make up my own name 4 that.

no it doesnt count if you do a kickflip on the ground...it must be in the air

I don't think it counts if you finish it on the ground, but i do'n know anything about kickflips cuz i'm mostly a dirt jumper.

man, kickflips were invented on dirt...you must catch the pedals before you land...its like doing a one footer and landing one footed if you dont.

Kickflips are when you just kick your pedals in a circle then catch 'em, right?

If so, I don't think it counts to finish it on the ground. Practice bunnyhopping higher, or hit a small jump or something. :cool:

Kickflip is rotating the pedals 180 degrees...

Crankflip is rotating the pedals 360 degrees...

Thats what I've learned from riding with people.

^^^ he's technically correct. but it doesnt really matter what you call it. before trying to crankflip with a bunnyhop, practise doing flatland no footers, they r pretty simple. and when u finally come to trying the crankflip, where shinpads or u will destroy your shins, cos it is completely different doing a crankflip airborn to on the ground.
